I've Seen Better Days...

Looks like I may need a new job.

A Black Belt in Karate???

Often people don't feel their first baby kicking until around 18-20 weeks. Well, mine is already practicing to be a black belt at 16 1/2 weeks (although realistically I don't think he/she will be in karate). As I sit here with my hand on my growing belly, I feel occasional little pieces of popcorn popping against my hand. Hmmm...must be the baby! Haven't had popcorn for a while. :)

FREEDOM!

Dogs are strange. Here I thought Mae Belle liked her new fenced-in backyard, but I found out today that she is trying to dig her way to freedom (or China, whichever comes first). Why is it that we are never satisfied?

A Pre-Mother's Day Gift

At 7:00 on Sunday morning, as I was getting some quality sleep in our newly refurbished Master bedroom... I heard some noise coming from the other side of the house...It was then that I realized that my thoughtful husband was busy working on my pre-Mother's Day gift. Now all we have to do is set up the crib and furniture and we'll be ready for baby. (Ok, so maybe there's a ton more we have to do to prepare and many diapers, etc. to buy...but atleast the majority of the nursery is done!)

You Guessed It!

I think the baby looks like his/her daddy. However, the daddy thinks it's not his since there's a bit of an alien-like appearance.
Needless to say, this is probably the best picture (head on the left if you couldn't figure it out) of our newest addition. We await his/her arrival on November 9th (hopefully sooner, I am a bit anxious to meet him/her).

One day at a time...

We've been busy working, painting, and making this house our home. Rob took a week off from work and got a lot of the painting done. Here's the new entry-way color in our house. We went from an olive color to a cranberry. It sure makes a big difference!
Living room wasn't such a big change from yellow to green, but we did finally get a sofa and loveseat. It will be finalized once I put up our new window treatments. We also finally got our t.v. set up! Go Twins!
Out of all the bathrooms we have, we tend to like to share this one (probably because it's the only one that's mostly done). The other bathrooms are still all white, this one is green.
We finally brought Mae Belle home! She really likes it here. She walks around and sniffs every little inch of the house. This is her favorite part.....
We got pounded with snow yesterday. Since our backyard is fenced-in, Mae Belle can run and play. She loves it!
It's beginning to feel a lot more like home (even if we're still sleeping on a futon). One day at a time!
